Get out of pain quickly.
One of the first and most key things we do is to get you out of pain quickly with hands on treatment. Pain affects everything and stops us moving correctly. It stops muscles working and ultimately stops us enjoying the activity we love.
No long term commitments or unnecessary physio sessions.
The majority of patients, especially those who have pain less than 5 weeks are pain free and back doing the activity they love very quickly. 8/10 patients who come with back or leg pain that is there less than 5 weeks are pain free in less than 3 sessions.
Stay out of pain long-term
For those who have had pain for months or years you need a clear plan to get out of pain and stay out of pain. Get an individualised assessment to tell you why you have your pain and an individualised plan to fix WHY you have pain. This is key to staying pain free long-term. Fix the reason for the problem not the symptoms. Stop looking for quick fixes. You need to take control of getting right.

“Before going to Eoin I couldn’t even go for a 20 minute walk without my knee acting up. I was at the stage where it was paining me everyday. This was difficult for me because I enjoyed exercising and had to cancel my first attempt at a half marathon because of it. Also I was planning on travelling around Asia and Australia for 6 months, the last thing I wanted was to have my knee in pain. I had tried a couple of physiotherapists without any success and my doctor eventually referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. I was only 25 and the prospect of having knee surgery was not a road I wanted to go down. Luckily the surgeon referred me to Eoin to begin a rehabilitation strategy”.
“Pre injury I had a very active lifestyle running 5 times a week, plus hockey training and matches, cycling and swimming. Having had surgery for a meniscal tear and diagnosed with chondromalacia patella, my activity level was drastically reduced! I was told it would be best to give up hockey because of the squatting involved. I had pretty much pain in my knee all the time. After driving I found it difficult to “get going” I went to Eoin in which he assessed me with FMS. He did physio and gave me a plan of simple exercises 2-3 times a week, which, was very achievable and could fit into a busy lifestyle. After only 2 visits over 2 months, I have not only no knee pain but I am back running swimming, cycling.”
